Biography

Maria Voskresenskaya was born in Moscow in the family of a famous pianist Mikhail Voskresensky. She graduated from the Gnessin State Musical School (class of V. A. Aristova, a student of L.N. Oborin) and the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (class of L. N. Naumov, a student of G. G. Neuhaus). Maria Voskresenskaya continues the traditions of the Moscow piano school succeeding both in her teaching and concert career.

She has toured Russia, China, France, Spain, Poland and other European and Asian countries as part of various ensembles. From 1995 to 2004 she collaborated with the Chamber Music Ensemble of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia. She also performed in a piano duet with her father Mikhail Voskresensky.

She is a regular member of the Lundstrem Trio and a soloist of Leonid Lundstrem's Studio. She regularly performs in such halls as the Grand, Small and Rachmaninoff Halls of the Moscow Conservatory, as well as at the best concert venues in St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Chita, Arkhangelsk, Veliky Novgorod and other Russian cities.

She started her pedagogical career at the Central Music School in 1986. Since 2016, she has been teaching at the Ippolitov-Ivanov State Musical Pedagogical Institute. As the jury member, she participates in various regional, national and international competitions, and gives master classes in different cities of Russia.

Since 2019, she has been a permanent teacher and soloist of the Leonid Lundstrem School-Festival, a participant in various festivals such as: Eclecticism (Krasnoyarsk), Oleg Lundstrom Festival (Transbaikalia), Taneyev Festival (Dyutkovo), Chamber Music Festival "In the House of A. F. Losev" (Moscow), etc
