is the Principal Conductor of Orchestra della Magna Grecia in Taranto and Matera (Italy), Artistic Director of Al Bustan Festival and Artistic Director of Chelsea Opera Group.<\/p>

Originally from Lerici, Marcian\u00f2 made his debut in 2006 at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. Since that moment on, he has built very strong ties with the Opera Houses of Oviedo, Minsk and in the UK (English National Opera, Grange Park Opera, Scottish Opera).<\/p>

During his career, Marcian\u00f2 has successfully collaborated with most of the greatest musicians of our times, among which Sir Bryn Terfel, Elina Garan\u010da, Sumi Jo, Joseph Calleja, Sondra Radvanovsky, Olga Peretyatko, Danielle De Niese, Arabella Steinbacher, Anna Tifu, Maria Jo\u00e3o Pires, Giovanni Sollima, Sergei Nakariakov, Denis Kozhukin, Valentina Lisitsa, and many other remarkable artists.<\/p>

Furthermore, he conducted Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hall\u00e9 Orchestra, the English Chamber Orchestra, the Georgian Philharmonic, BBC Concert Orchestra, Filarmonica Toscanini, Orchestra della Toscana and many others.<\/p>

Since 2010, he has conducted operas La Traviata, Tosca, Un Ballo in Maschera, Rigoletto, DieZauberfl\u00f6te, Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, Cos\u00ec fan tutte and others at Grange Park Opera.<\/p>

Between 2011-2014, Marcian\u00f2 was the Music Director of the Tbilisi State Opera, conducting La Forza del Destino, Cavalleria Rusticana, Nabucco, Attila, Il Trovatore, Mitridate, re di Ponto, and Aida, while later, between 2017-2019 he was the Principal Conductor of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad.<\/p>

Marcian\u00f2 founded the Suoni dal Golfo Festival in his hometown overlooking the Gulf of Poets, renamed Lerici Music Festival in 2020. In 2017, he receives the Honorary Citizenship of the City of Lerici for his achievements and in 2018 has been awarded the Tatiana Pavlova Award.<\/p>
